District Peace Committee Meeting held at DC office, Bhakkar
Today on 15th of July 2020 a District Peace Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Bhakkar Syed Musa Raza in committee room at DC office Bhakkar. DPO, Bhakkar Muhammad Ali Zia and ADCG, Bhakkar Abbas Raza Nasir were also present in the meeting. The role of the District Peace Committee is crucial to ensure coordinated and effective implementation of Eid-ul-Adha, Muharram, Law and Order and Security Plan for the establishment of peace and prevention of Corona virus in the district. On this occasion, the esteemed members of the District Peace Committee reiterated their commitment that government SOPs would be kept in mind for the prevention of Corona virus in the district. The members further said that full support would be provided to the district administration and police in maintaining a cordial atmosphere of unity, brotherhood and inter-faith harmony. Member of the District Peace Committee Rana Aftab Ahmed, Syed Sikandar Raza Naqvi, Maulana Amir Abdullah Khan, Zubair Mahmood Mughal, Syed Qaiser Naqvi, Syed Asif Raza Abidi, Maulana Muhammad Safiullah, Muhammad Abdul Rahim Rizvi, Mufti Ghulam Sarwar, Syed Arif Hussain Qudusi, Syed Muzaffar Naqvi, Mohammad Iqbal Jorra, Qari Abdul Shakoor, Malik Riaz Hussain Sial, Qari Fateh Mohammad, Sahibzada Abdul Haleem and General Secretary Anjuman-e-Tajiran Malik Ashiq Hussain Khokhar and other esteemed members during their address said that the duty of promoting public order, brotherhood and tolerance in the entire district will be performed in the best possible way. The members of the District Peace Committee further said that the measures taken by the district administration and police for maintaining law and order were commendable and every possible cooperation would be extended to maintain the implementation of these measures so that the peaceful atmosphere of the district could be saved from external mischief. Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza welcomed the cooperation and suggestions of the District Peace Committee and said that it is the responsibility of every citizen to keep the peace of the district safe from dangers. So that a situation of breach of peace could not arise anywhere in the district. He said that full implementation of the code of conduct issued by the Punjab government for Muharram would be ensured with the key cooperation of the District Peace Committee. Highlighting the Muharram security plan, DPO Muhammad Ali Zia said that the security system in the district is fully alert. He said that all resources would be utilized to maintain security.
